I have experienced many clients and people in general are questioning themselves about their job and what their life mission was. They go from two extremes: either doing something they do not like in order to get some money or making something big out of their usual positions -like they are going to save the world or do something enormously big. All the sudden they are all ascendant masters, world saviors or similar.
Life mission is your call. Something which comes natural for you, that something in which you are good at, something about what you have that inner knowledge about. Especially, it is something that is very easy for you, something in which you enjoy and everybody else with whom you are sharing it with.
You cannot learn about your call. You cannot choose your call, but in some sense your call has chosen you
(you can choose before your birth, but when you are here it is a done deal).
There is no such school in which you can learn how to be what you already are, you cannot learn how to be an actress, painter, teacher. That is always in you, your call is a part of you. There can only be that you are already natural born teacher or singer, or football player and then you just need to follow that call and perform that in these circumstances. There is no way for you to BECOME something (teacher, actress, doctor) you can only be born with that inner knowledge or ability to teach, to nurture, to negotiate or whatever.
Our job in this reality is to pay attention to our inner abilities, talents, our deep natural knowledge and to pull that into the surface to work with it, to educate ourselves more in it, to establish it, to create new ways of doing it, to integrate it into the society maybe in a new way or better way or more effective way.
You cannot learn who you are, rather you can just be who you are.
When you are and do what is natural for you, in which you are at your best it is a win-win situation for all. Then you live fulfilled life and you are providing only the best for yourself and for the others.
That’s life mission. It is not something fancy, something splendor or masterpiece. It could be that, but more usually it is something more of an everyday thing, something more practical, more useful for everybody.
*Everyday stuff could be lived in a very deep and profound way, there is no need for something unseen to happen in order to be divine.
Divinity is everywhere in all things, in all jobs and in all interactions.
How you live your life matters.
Nobody can tell you how to do your job or which job you should do. That’s your part to figure it out. It is your talent.
Maybe you are natural born writer and you are thinking: this is not such a good job position, compensation is poor, people do not read books anymore, there are a lot of writers these days and there is no room for me etc. So what? Maybe it is your job to create some new way of writing, or new way in presenting the writings, or maybe you have some unique point of view which is essential to readers these days, who knows? Only you can provide this to the world. If there is some talent present in you, then it is there for a reason, and your part is to creatively come up with how to use it nowadays. Good luck! You will make it for sure.
